Position Overview Physical Therapist – Outpatient (Great Falls Clinic Hospital). This role involves diagnosing, managing, and enhancing movement dysfunction and overall physical function. The Physical Therapist works under the direction of the Department Director and complies with all Service Standards, policies, and procedures of Great Falls Clinic.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal and functional deficits.

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans.

Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.

Prepare and maintain accurate patient care records and reports.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate patient care.

Administer and document therapeutic modalities such as manipulation, resistance training, and equipment use.

Communicate treatment plans and progress clearly to patients, families, and medical staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Montana.

BLS Certification required.

Prior experience in a similar scope of practice is preferred.

Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and techniques.

Proficiency with clinical equipment and safety protocols.

Strong documentation and report‑writing skills.

Ability to establish effective relationships with patients, staff, and the public.

Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and manipulating patients up to 100 lbs.

Comfortable with intermittent computer use and office equipment operation.

Capability to manage a dynamic clinical environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
