Customer Service Representative
Domino's Pizza is looking for an energetic, friendly team member to serve customers, take orders, and assist with the store’s daily operations. This role may be full‑time or part‑time, and it offers opportunities for career advancement within Domino’s.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Take orders over the phone and in person.
Deal with customer concerns and cancellations.
Handle cash responsibly and give correct change.
Upsell menu items and promotions.
Make Domino’s high‑quality pizzas and other menu items.
Control food portions and inventory.
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
Prepare ingredients and assemble food items.
Perform general cleaning duties for the equipment and facility.
Operate all equipment used in pizza preparation and order taking.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Operate or assist with general store tasks such as turning on/off equipment and troubleshooting.
Communication Skills
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions & Skills
Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately and quickly.
Make correct monetary change.
Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Coordinate hand and eye movements to make precise movements quickly.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Work Conditions
Work outside in varying weather conditions when handling trash and other tasks.
Experience temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F+ inside the store.
Encounter sudden temperature changes in work area and while outside.
Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
Work in cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Encounter sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
Use of ear and voice for telephone calls.
Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
Depth perception and distinction between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments
Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements
Standing : Most tasks performed from a standing position.
Walking : For short distances and short durations.
Lifting : Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lbs) using a hand truck.
Carrying : Large cans (≈3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs) and dough trays (≈12 lbs each) carried over short distances.
Pushing : Move trays on dollies and occasionally pull them.
Climbing : Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.
Stooping/Bending : 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously.
Crouching/Squatting : Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
Reaching : Continuous, up, down, and forward.
Hand Tasks : Continuous eye‑hand coordination, use of both hands, forceful forearm and wrist use for dough shaping.
