Position Summary
The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff, and client experience of the medical spa. This role combines leadership, customer service, and business management to ensure smooth operations, compliance with medical and safety standards, and achievement of financial goals. The Spa Manager will partner with providers, aesthetic staff, and administrative teams to deliver an exceptional, results‑driven, and luxury client experience.
Key Responsibilities Operations Management
Oversee day‑to‑day operations, scheduling, and workflow of spa services.
Ensure compliance with all medical regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that reflects the brand.
Potential management of operations from multiple locations (currently one office)
Recruit, train, schedule, and manage front desk, support, and clinical staff.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to support staff growth.
Foster a positive, professional, and client‑focused culture.
Client Experience
Ensure each client receives an exceptional, personalized experience from check‑in to follow‑up.
Address client concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion.
Oversee client retention programs, memberships, and loyalty initiatives.
Business Development
Collaborate with providers and marketing teams to drive sales, promotions, and new service launches.
Monitor and analyze KPIs, including revenue, client retention, retail sales, and staff productivity.
Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
Oversee billing, cash handling, and daily financial reporting.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership, organizational, and team‑building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of medical spa treatments, products, and industry trends.
Sales acumen with proven ability to meet financial targets.
Proficiency with scheduling and POS systems (e.g., MEEVO, Aesthetic Record, or similar).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
3+ years of management experience in a med‑spa, medical office, luxury spa, or related setting.
Prior experience with sales, customer service, and staff supervision required.
Knowledge of state regulations governing medical aesthetics strongly preferred.
