Job Summary Provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of Interventional Radiology (IR) equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Acts as a resource for lower level Interventional Radiology Technologists and students.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduated from a JRCERT accredited program.

Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required.

Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required.

Certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.

Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) approved program.

Work Experience 2 years staff IR Technologist.

Equipment Operated IR equipment, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment.

Special Requirements

Communication Skills: Above average verbal (heavy public contact).

Writing/Composing: Correspondence/Reports.

Other Skills

Analytical, CRT, medical terms, P.C.

Advanced Education Graduated from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Work Schedule Flexible – on-call required.
