Pay Range $16.94/hr - $19.50/hr
Available Shifts 7am-6pm, 7pm-6am
Responsibilities
Use a manual forklift to pick full gondolas (large cardboard boxes) and replace them with empty gondolas within the assigned area.
Transport and place full corrugated cardboard gondolas in the packer or compactor located in a designated area of the warehouse (training will be provided).
Ensure all areas around gondolas are free of debris and trash.
Remove dust, sweep and mop around the bins to keep the transit areas free of trash and debris.
Maintain all traffic areas ("Green Mile walkways") free of debris at all times to guarantee the safety of all.
Keep and classify the packer/compactor/packer zones to maintain order.
Other cleaning tasks may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Capacity to lift and move gondolas up to 75+ lbs using a manual forklift.
Capacity to lift, push, pull and transport objects that weigh up to 50 lbs.
Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach objects both below the waist and above the head.
Capable of pushing and pulling loaded manual forklifts consistently with garbage/cardboard.
Walk inside and around the facilities frequently throughout the shift.
Must be able to stand and walk for a maximum of 10 to 12 hours.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operation and maintenance standards.
Background and drug screening required.
