Job Description
As an A/V Lead Installer, you’ll take the lead on installing and integrating pre‑designed audio‑visual solutions and supporting established systems. This is a full‑time role based in Dallas, TX, with approximately 90% travel within Texas and neighboring states.
What You’ll Do
Lead installation of medium to large‑scale A/V systems, including multi‑room campus solutions
Interpret design packages, scope of work, and drawings to deliver high‑quality installations
Ensure standards compliance, safety, and quality control
Manage job inventory, equipment, and personnel hours
Install and configure systems from top vendors: Crestron, AMX, Extron, Kramer, Shure, Biamp, QSC, Panasonic, NEC, Samsung, Epson, Planar, and more
Work with advanced technologies: AV over IP, HDBaseT, Dante, AVB
Support conferencing systems, council chambers, and enterprise‑level deployments
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of A/V installation experience
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to pass background checks
Industry certifications preferred:
InfoComm CTS (CTS‑I a plus)
Crestron (DMC‑E, DM‑NVX, CTI‑x)
Biamp, Shure, Dante, QSC
Hands‑on experience with CAD interpretation, cable termination, and networking fundamentals
Ability to work independently or lead a team under tight deadlines
Willingness to travel extensively (90%)
