Job Description With minimum guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks of a complex scope and nature in one or more of the following areas: production equipment, diagnose and repair of conventional and CNC machinery.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
Remove, repair or relocate CNC machines; install air & water lines; align and adjust machines for production operation.
Diagnose defects and perform repair and preventive maintenance to various types of hydraulic equipment, CNC machine tools, building plumbing and related equipment.
Construct, install, maintain, repair and overhaul test stands, fixtures and related hydraulic equipment.
Setup and operate arc and acetylene welding equipment.
Perform high pressure tubing and hose fabrication for hydraulic and pneumatic application and contamination control.
Plan, layout and construct additions, partitions, benches, shipping boxes and other carpentry.
Assist in planning sequence of operations and methods to be used in overhaul and repair.
Check and calibrate new or rebuilt equipment after installation.li>
Identify and repair CNC machine malfunctions.
Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and mechanical operations for proper operation.
Required Skills
Five years related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
May require proficiency with pump and valve overhaul procedures, especially aerospace associated equipment.
Ability to work from blueprints and sketches.
Possess required tools.
May require ability to setup and operate hand and power tools.
