Alternatives, Inc. in Hillsborough, NJ is looking to hire a part‑time asleep overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to support adults with developmental disabilities.

Sunday: 11 pm – 9 am

Monday: off

Tuesday: off

Wednesday: off

Thursday: off

Friday: 11 pm – 9 am

Saturday: 11 pm – 9 am

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) / CAREGIVER

Assist residents with activities of daily living including medication administration, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and transportation to medical appointments.

Support implementation of individualized behavioral plans, teach new skills, and help clients achieve goals.

Encourage participation in community outings and recreational activities.

Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation and report any health or safety concerns.

WORK SCHEDULE We operate 24‑hour residential group homes, offering shift options across 24 hours.

Day shifts

7 am – 3 pm

3 pm – 11 pm

Overnight shifts

11 pm – 9 am
