We are seeking a dedicated Journeyman Lineman to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution and transmission systems while ensuring safety and reliability standards are met. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the efficient delivery of power services.
Position Responsibilities
Electrical System Installation & Maintenance Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical lines and equipment Inspect electrical systems for safety compliance and operational efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues to minimize downtime Safety & Compliance Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established procedures Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with other linemen, engineers, and field crews to complete projects Maintain accurate records of work performed and report issues promptly Prerequisites
Journeyman Lineman certification or equivalent experience Proven experience in electrical distribution and transmission systems Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes Ability to work at heights, in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
OSHA certification First Aid / CPR certification What the Role Offers
