Nesco Resource has partnered with a leading healthcare management organization in its search for a Payroll Analyst for its Richmond Hill, NY location. This role is responsible for analyzing and coordinating payroll processes, maintaining payroll records, and performing audits to ensure accuracy.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Analyst:
Collect, verify, and process employee timekeeping data
Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and leave time
Process payroll taxes, deductions, and withholdings
Prepare and distribute payroll via checks or direct deposit
Maintain and update payroll records, including rate changes and employee status updates
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Prepare payroll reports for management and audits
Stay current on payroll tax laws and regulatory changes
Collaborate closely with HR and Accounting teams
Qualifications of the Payroll Analyst:
3–5 years of payroll processing experience
Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst or similar role
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and tax regulations
Hands-on experience with payroll systems (ADP required)
Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Effective communication skills for working with employees and management
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
Must have experience using ADP payroll systems
Salary: $100-$110k
