We are seeking a skilled Field Services Electrical / Electronics Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic test equipment for industrial instrumentation systems. The technician will travel to client sites, collect and analyze data, and support lab operations to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
Core responsibilities
Deploy, install, and maintain electrical and electronic test equipment at client facilities
Collect data using specialized instrumentation systems and prepare reports on performance
Construct, calibrate, and troubleshoot electronic test equipment in lab and field environments
Install software, configure systems, and resolve operational issues with test equipment
Support laboratory operations and maintain equipment integrity
Travel frequently for domestic and international client site assignments
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure quality and reliability of services
Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience with electrical/electronic systems
Strong knowledge of electronics troubleshooting, soldering, and computer/software systems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to follow written instructions and quality procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with industrial instrumentation or control systems
Familiarity with field deployment and client-facing technical support
Knowledge of international standards for electrical and electronic testing
Experience analyzing data from test equipment
