Physical Therapist (DPT, PT, RPT) – Home Setting – Valparaiso, FL 32580
Seeking a DPT or Physical Therapist to provide therapy services in a home setting. We are an outpatient therapy clinic dedicated to delivering top‑notch care to our geriatric clientele, promoting proactive, preventative approaches that help patients thrive and age in place.
Responsibilities
Evaluates and treats patients in a home setting
Communicates with families, physicians, and other health‑care professionals
Maintains daily, thorough documentation of services in the EMR
Has personal equipment, including a blood pressure monitor and smart devices
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited institution with a Doctoral/Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
New graduate applicants welcome; experienced therapists also encouraged to apply
Actively licensed as a Florida Physical Therapist
Job Type
PRN (per diem) – part of an on‑call pool of therapists who work on a per‑demand basis
Flexible schedule: free to choose when to work and whether to accept patient assignments
Variety of settings: works in assisted living facilities and residential homes
No long‐term contracts: assignments vary from a few patients to many, based on demand
Higher rates: although benefits are not provided, pay rates are often higher
Weekend and holiday shifts may be requested and offer premium pay
Skill maintenance and networking opportunities available across diverse patient populations
Compensation: up to $120 per evaluation
