We are seeking a dependable, hands‑on Porter Supervisor / Stewarding Supervisor to lead our back‑of‑house team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational support at the MAC Clayton Clubhouse

Porter Supervisor / Stewarding Supervisor Responsibilities:

Supervises dishwashing and stewarding team to ensure all cleaning standards are met

Ensures proper use of chemicals, dilution ratios, and sanitation procedures.

Trains team on equipment washing, storage, safety, and cleaning procedures

Oversees cleaning of stoves, ovens, fryers, hoods, walk‑ins, and all kitchen equipment.

Maintains organization and cleanliness of dish pit, mop rooms, and storage areas.

Ensures walk‑ins, shelving, and storage areas are cleaned and organized (no food prep duties).

Collaborates with chemical company representatives regarding products, parts, and usage.

Ensures proper storage and labeling of chemicals and sanitation supplies.

Provides support for event setup, banquet resets, furniture movement, and layout changes

Maintains closing and opening checklists for stewarding team.

Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned, dried, and stored at the end of service.

Oversees laundry systems for kitchen uniforms, towels, aprons, and linens.

Communicates equipment needs, breakdowns, or sanitation concerns immediately.

Maintains a positive, organized, and safe work environment.

Porter Supervisor / Stewarding Supervisor Qualifications:

2–4 years of stewarding or facilities experience preferred.

Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of cleaning systems, chemicals, and sanitation.

Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
