JOB OVERVIEW Be part of an exciting new chapter at the Missouri Athletic Club with the opening of MAC Clayton, the Club's newest location, designed to carry forward more than 120 years of tradition into a modern and elevated experience. Anticipated to open early 2026, MAC Clayton will feature state-of-the-art facilities, refined dining, and thoughtfully designed spaces for athletics, wellness, and social connection. This new Clubhouse will serve as a cornerstone for members seeking excellence in hospitality, culinary innovation, and community engagement. The MAC has thrived since 1903 by staying true to its founders' vision: delivering extraordinary experiences with excellence, service, and tradition at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher/Steward to help maintain cleanliness and support smooth kitchen operations at the MAC Clayton Clubhouse.
Dishwasher / Steward Responsibilities:
Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using correct procedures.
Uses proper chemical concentrations for soap, sanitizer, and degreaser per Procter & Gamble or approved supplier guidelines.
Maintains dish pit cleanliness, sanitizer buckets, and all washing stations.
Organizes and stores clean equipment safely and correctly.
Cleans kitchen surfaces including stoves, ovens, hoods, floors, walls, and prep areas.
Assists with walk-in cleaning and organization (NO food prep).
Helps with trash removal, recycling, and waste management.
Maintains mop sinks, drain areas, and storage rooms.
Ensures HACCP standards, sanitation logs, and safety procedures are followed.
Alerts supervisors of equipment issues or safety concerns
Works positively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, peaceful environment.
Supports banquet and event resets when needed.
Assists receiving and stewarding teams in organizing deliveries and storage.
Dishwasher / Steward Qualifications:
No experience required; training provided.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic understanding of sanitation and safety is helpful.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
