The Medical Observation Unit (23 beds) and Cardiac Observation Unit (10 beds) care for a wide variety of adult patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, etc. diagnoses with an anticipated length of stay of 24–48 hours! This is perfect for nurses who enjoy critical thinking, strong assessment skills, and a fast‑paced work environment. Our collaborative interdisciplinary team expediates monitoring, diagnostic testing, and interventions while providing holistic, patient‑centered care. Our unit prides itself on teamwork, respect, and open communication. We support professional growth for those pursuing certifications and/or degree advancement, as well as opportunities for career advancement. Expectations
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

As a designated Level III Trauma Center, we provide comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care.
