Location: Atrium Health Cabarrus, a 457‑bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. The unit is a Level III Trauma Center providing comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care, with disease‑specific certifications in Stroke, Epilepsy, Spine, Bariatrics, and Chest Pain Center care.
We’re Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skill communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Location Overview Working in our 30‑bed Progressive Coronary Care Unit means joining a team that delivers advanced care for patients with complex cardiac conditions in a fast‑paced, rewarding environment. Our patient population includes individuals recovering from acute coronary syndromes, post‑cardiac interventions, arrhythmia management, and advanced heart failure. The diverse and specialized setting allows nurses to develop strong critical thinking skills and expertise in progressive cardiac care.

Maternity Center: High‑fidelity birthing simulator for staff training; 27‑bed Mother Baby Unit offering couplet care and family‑centered services.
Age‑Friendly Unit: Implements the 4Ms framework to deliver evidence‑based care for older adults, enhancing patient experience.
Cardiovascular Services: State‑of‑the‑art surgical tower with expanding procedures and new cardiovascular surgeons.
Medical‑Surgical Services: Intermediate Care Unit located on PSC3 and Neurosciences.
Surgical Services: Designated as an ASMBS Surgery Center of Excellence.
Additional Programs & Support Services
Professional Governance – Empowering clinical decision‑making and leadership.
Teammate Advisory Board – Fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Behavioral Response Team (BRT) – One of only two designated teams in the region responding to patients with escalating behaviors.
