Moises Bakery Hallandale in Hallandale Beach, FL, is looking for one sous chef to join our 15 people strong team. We are located at 115 E Hallandale Beach Blvd Moises Bakery. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
Follow the direction of the executive chef to achieve the kitchen goals
Create new dishes and menus per business needs
Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
Assist in providing preparations to the production team and line cooks
Qualifications
Experience working as a sous chef or chef
High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
Able to operate a bakery oven, fryer, grill, and gas stove stations
Previous experience in Venezuelan or Hispanic food preparations is a plus.
