During training
, your training schedule will be
first shift, 6:00am to 2:30pm
. Once your training is complete, you will work second shift which is
2:00pm to 10:30pm.
Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience: Experience in maintenance field is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience with
plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fabrication is preferred. Ability to work with
hand tools and power tools is required. Willingness to learn and perform pipefitting and welding is required. Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, metal fabrication, and electrical is preferred. Ability to work
first shift (6:00am to 2:30pm) and second shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm). Ability to work
weekends and overtime is required.
Responsibilities: During your shift as a Maintenance Mechanic IV (ECT-Chemetall), you will: Understanding and complying with facility safety rules and regulations. Being able to work in a
chemical hazardous area with appropriate PPE. Installing, maintaining and repairing industrial equipment which include Liquid pumps, Centrifugal, Gears, Air Motors, Valves, Actuators, Conveyors, and other building utilities. (HVAC, boilers, air compressors, etc.) Taking idea and creating fabricated equipment. With or without provided drawing (Metal welding, Tig, Mig, Stick, Metal cutting, Plasma, angle grinder). Inspecting machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate. Identifying and responding to signs of malfunction in machinery and perform troubleshooting for production machinery. Scheduling and performing routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment. Performing emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric and hydraulic. Maintaining machinery and the adjacent workplace in a state of appropriate cleanliness; create and maintain a schedule for inspection, service and testing of machinery. Complying with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of machinery. The Maintenance Mechanic will assist the Maintenance Team Lead and other employees with work orders;
they will observe and work with Maintenance Mechanics and Maintenance Group Leader at all times.
