Pharmacist-in-Charge Compensation • The pay for this position is

$70.00 per hour • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacist-in-Charge Highlights • Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET • Location:

On-site in Fort Myers, Florida • Specialty pharmacy serving an oncology patient population • Strong support structure with multiple pharmacy teams • High likelihood of conversion to full-time employment

Pharmacist-in-Charge Responsibilities • Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge overseeing daily pharmacy operations and compliance • Lead and supervise pharmacists, technicians, and support staff • Conduct patient evaluations, develop and manage pharmaceutical care plans for oral and injectable oncology therapies • Coordinate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure safe and timely medication delivery • Review, verify, and dispense specialty medications in accordance with professional standards • Perform QA checks on all new and refill prescriptions • Ensure proper insurance approval prior to dispensing • Provide patient counseling and education regarding therapy, side effects, and interactions • Maintain accurate records for prescriptions, patient charges, and inventory • Develop and uphold pharmacy policies, procedures, and workflow optimization • Oversee hazardous drug handling and disposal processes • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards • Support accreditation efforts including

NABP, URAC, ACHC, and NCODA • Participate in training, mentorship, performance evaluations, and staff development • Assist with strategic planning, budgeting, and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Pharmacist-in-Charge Requirements • Bachelor’s or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy • Minimum

5 years of experience as a registered pharmacist •

1–2 years of pharmacy management or supervisory experience required •

Valid pharmacist licenses in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Idaho, Iowa • Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and medication management • Experience working with pharmacy information systems • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in an environment with exposure to chemotherapeutic agents
