Job Summary As a Radiology Technologist at Baptist Medical Center Downtown, you will prepare rooms and position patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions while collaborating closely with nurses and physicians, operating advanced imaging equipment, and ensuring every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
Perform high‑quality radiographic procedures.
Promote goodwill among co‑workers and maintain a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
Report to the Lead Technologist on shift.
Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
Comfortable with pediatric imaging.
Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy.
Qualifications
Education required:
Vocational School (Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred).
Experience:
None required (Customer Service, Radiology/Imaging, or hospital setting experience preferred).
License and Certification:
BLS required; ARRT‑Registered Radiologic Technologist or equivalent required; CI, RCIS, or LCRT preferred; ACLS preferred.
