Academic Success Specialist, Alpha Anywhere (Remote) - $60,000/year USD
Join the position at Crossover, an independent contractor agreement with a weekly payment schedule. Your role will be full‑time (40 hours per week) and expected to begin immediately.
Base Pay Range $30.00/hour – $30.00/hour ($60,000/year assuming 50 weeks per year).
Overview Alpha Anywhere operates a 2‑Hour Learning framework where students complete a full academic day in two concentrated hours, then spend their afternoons engaging in enrichment activities. As an Academic Success Specialist you will translate AI‑generated performance metrics into precise, prompt interventions that guide each learner toward 90 % mastery and higher.
What You Will Be Doing
Creating highly precise Academic Data Reports that identify challenges and activate solutions within a 48‑hour timeframe.
Conducting urgent‑response "intervention" calls to eliminate obstacles and restore student motivation.
Facilitating post‑assessment coaching conversations to distinguish conceptual gaps from procedural mistakes and establish unambiguous action items.
Reporting roster irregularities or metric discrepancies immediately upon detection, protecting the accuracy of all performance data.
Coordinating with Parent Support and Academics leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Attending prolonged meetings while your analysis sits unused.
Producing generic presentation materials disconnected from measurable results.
Marking physical assignments or developing curriculum—the AI handles the instructional workload.
Key Responsibilities Provide immediate academic analysis and direct student interventions that maintain 2× learning velocity throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.
Basic Requirements
Demonstrated ability working in data science or a related role, education, EdTech, or a student‑support role with both analytical and interpersonal components.
Proficiency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering, etc.).
High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and a kid‑friendly coaching style.
