Job Title: Account Manager – Personal Lines

Position Overview: The Personal Lines Digital Account Manager contributes to client success through strategic consultation, effective relationship management, and innovative technology. This role involves sales and service of insurance products while managing retention, handling complaints, actioning renewals, and overseeing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management – Serve as the primary point of contact, manage day‑to‑day communications, and foster strong, long‑lasting relationships.
Understand client needs and provide strategic recommendations and tailored solutions.
Maintain timely and accurate updates on policies in the Agency Management System.
Implement data‑driven and customer‑tailored marketing or awareness campaigns.
Achieve retention and growth targets for the assigned customer block.
Identify new opportunities for client growth and expand services.
Coordinate with internal teams, including Digital Marketing, Human Resources, Compliance and third‑party partners.
Support cross‑functional initiatives that enhance the overall digital strategy.
Drive client adoption of self‑service tools and enrollment capabilities.
Promote additional digital services and solutions to support client objectives.
Exceed client retention and satisfaction metrics through a consultative, technology‑first approach.
Perform other tasks or projects as requested by service team or region leadership.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
Hold applicable insurance licenses.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years in account management or a related role.
Proven experience managing client relationships and achieving retention targets.
Experience remarketing clients across multiple carriers and delivering proposals.
Ability to cross‑sell products to broaden the client relationship.
Skills
Strong client management and relationship‑building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with Applied EPIC or similar account management software.
Ability to multitask across multiple systems and workflows.
Collaborative team player who manages multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative problem‑solving and passion for customer service.
Pay Details: The base compensation range is $40,000 – $75,000. Placement within the range depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
