Receptionist/Office Assistant (Temporary)
Neurelis, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Receptionist/Office Assistant to manage client‑facing duties, general office tasks, and administrative support. The role requires excellent communication, time management, multitasking, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Job Summary Handle front‑desk responsibilities, maintain office supplies, support new‑hire onboarding, coordinate meetings and events, and ensure the workplace remains clean and organized. Work hours are Monday‑Thursday, 7:30 am‑4:00 pm.
Essential Job Functions
Greet guests, offer drinks, Wi‑Fi, and direct them to restrooms.
Maintain a clean reception area and keep lights, water fountain, and reading materials available.
Provide café and coffee machine maintenance, including daily cleaning and weekly full cycles.
Create and update a concierge binder or webpage with local recommendations, emergency contacts, and maps.
Support Outlook calendar maintenance for multiple departments.
Track visitors and assist field employees visiting headquarters.
Prepare new‑hire welcome packets and office supplies; set up desks before start dates.
Act as liaison for property management and submit work orders via Building Engines.
Ensure conference rooms are ready, stocked, and cleaned for meetings.
Assist with catering for meetings and bi‑weekly lunches, track attendees, and manage budgets.
Manage office, kitchen, and storage supplies inventory on a weekly basis.
Handle mail collection, distribution, and shipping label creation.
Participate in the safety committee and maintain safety procedures.
Attend and lead bi‑weekly admin meetings with the Admin team.
Assist with company projects and budget management for supplies and lunches.
Maintain turnover and restock refrigerators and snack baskets daily.

Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Requirements
High school diploma with some college or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years experience as an Office or Administrative Assistant.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and multitasking ability.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
