Job Description This position supports the Field Service Business Area, helping small projects in the San Diego, Aftermarket, Norfolk and Production Support Product Lines. The selected candidate will provide financial decision support to stakeholders, focusing on minimizing risk and maximizing program profit. In this role, you will support the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) Business at our facility in Maple Grove, MN.
Primary Responsibilities
Tracks, analyzes, and reports on projects of varying contract type, size, and complexity.
Supports project execution by performing financial analysis, including budget-to-actual reviews and weekly/monthly reporting.
Communicates with program teams, multiple levels of management, and internal/external customers.
Manages project start-up/close‑out, monthly program revenue, cost management, and profit recognition throughout the program life cycle.
Stays organized to support multiple, short‑duration projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically an Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Self‑motivated with a bias for action and process orientation.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and self‑manage a multi‑tasked workload in a fast‑paced environment.
Sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures.
Detail orientation with meticulous record‑keeping.
Capability to work limited overtime (days, evenings, weekends) as needed.
Collaboration with multiple Finance and non‑Finance functions.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Organizational skills, advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft tools, and a finance background.
Pay Information Full‑Time Salary Range: $56,401 - $95,881
