Senior Structural Engineer (Data Centers)

$132,900.00 – $182,700.00 per year Responsibilities
As a Senior Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team, you will work on a variety of data‑center projects—including new builds, retrofits, and colocations—contributing to design, analysis, and project delivery while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the globe. Perform structural analysis and develop computer models for structures. Conduct calculations for member and foundation design, material take‑offs for estimating, and miscellaneous calculations. Assist with project schedules, cost estimates, and coordinate designs with internal design departments and other Jacobs offices domestically and internationally. Lead technical initiatives and grow into a leadership role within the organization. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering. 8 or more years of professional structural engineering experience. Registered Professional Engineer, with the ability to become registered in additional states. Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D) and structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD). In-depth knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other applicable design codes and building codes. Proficiency in MS Office suite, including MS Teams for remote coordination. Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time to client sites. Ideal Additional Qualifications
Master of Science in Engineering. Experience with industrial metals projects such as casting and rolling operations. Ability to lead teams and deliver on schedule, budget, and client expectations. Benefits
