Senior Structural Engineer (Data Centers)
Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team, working on Data Center projects across the United States.
Responsibilities
Lead structural design for new builds, retrofits, and colocations.
Perform complex calculations, material take-offs, and analysis using RISA, STAAD, and CAD tools.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and internal departments to coordinate designs and deliver project outcomes.
Assist with design documentation, construction coordination, and schedule management.
Qualifications
B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
8+ years of structural engineering experience.
Professional Engineer registration and ability to register in additional states.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D, and structural analysis software.
Strong knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and building codes.
Excellent communication, travel up to 20%, and ability to work both remote and on-site.
Preferred
Master’s degree in Engineering.
Experience with industrial metal or heavy structural projects.
Leadership experience in project delivery.
