Temporary Recruiter (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Job Summary Seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Temporary Recruiter
to join a Human Resources team on a short-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in high-volume recruiting and sourcing, particularly within the call center or insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the full-cycle recruitment process across multiple roles and departments, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring experience.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume roles, including conducting intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, timelines, and role requirements
Proactively source candidates through job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), referrals, and other recruiting channels
Screen and assess candidates for skills, experience, and cultural fit
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS
Track and report recruiting metrics, providing regular updates on hiring progress
Conduct in-person and video interviews with candidates
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up on the interview process status
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of internal, high-volume recruiting experience is required
Experience in the auto insurance and/or Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Predictive Index (PI) assessments is a plus
Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and stakeholder communication skills
Proficiency in using an ATS and other recruiting tools
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
