Responsibilities
Enter, maintain, and process payroll information for employees, including hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, and other compensation.
Record time worked, paid leave, holidays, deductions, and withholding, and update address changes.
Verify timesheets for accuracy and obtain manager approval.
Research discrepancies, collaborate with team members, and resolve issues before bi‑weekly payroll posting.
Required Skills & Abilities
Data entry into spreadsheets and payroll systems.
Efficient use of payroll software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to obtain necessary approvals for payroll submission.
Process wage garnishments and payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
Issue, reissue, or replace checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Quick learning of new payroll software.
