Flynn Group entered the Panera system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafés. Since then, we have more than tripled in size and continue to grow by building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators. Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread. We operate under a decentralized model; each geographic area is led by a Market Leader. Reporting to Market Leaders are Area Directors, responsible for overall functions of the cafés in their regions. General Managers oversee the cafés, with Assistant Managers helping with day‑to‑day operations and Team Managers supporting leadership.
Position Description Our Panera Bread cafés are upscale, friendly environments featuring baked breads and pastries. We serve made‑to‑order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. Managers supervise up to 75 staff members to ensure a top‑quality service experience. We value no late nights and pride ourselves on a grease‑ and alcohol‑free workspace.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide outstanding leadership to your team.
Passion for the industry, inspiring others, coaching, counseling, creating a profitable environment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety, and facility management.
Manage overall business performance, including ordering, scheduling, labor, marketing, facilities, bakery operations, and catering.
Analyze and plan restaurant sales and profitability.
Coordinate shifts, greet customers, and ensure satisfaction.
Coach and mentor associates with one‑on‑one reviews and performance documentation.
Resolve associate questions and prevent problems.
Recruit, train, and maintain staffing levels.
Ensure compliance with company guidelines, values, and ethical business practices.
Education And Experience
At least 2–3 years of hospitality management experience.
Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management preferred.
Food management certifications a plus.
Demonstrated “Run it Like You Own It” mentality.
