What This Job Involves:
As the Night Shift Operations Supervisor, you will direct and support daily facility operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery to clients and building occupants. This role combines leadership responsibilities with technical oversight of building systems maintenance and repair activities. You\'ll supervise technicians who handle various facility systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, grounds, and landscape services. This position requires coordinating work schedules, monitoring performance, implementing best practices, and maintaining safety standards. You\'ll serve as the critical link between management, technical staff, and customers while ensuring all work is documented properly in SAP and follows established procedures. What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like: Supervising technicians responding to facility maintenance and repair needs Creating, reviewing, and closing work orders in SAP Coordinating daily work activities and special projects Overseeing technician work schedules and making assignments Performing field checks to verify quality and completeness of work Procuring necessary materials and supplies Documenting work progress and results Ensuring technicians have proper information and materials to complete assignments Communicating processes and procedures to technicians, engineers, and contractors Identifying safety hazards and working with HS&E to implement remediation plans Gathering information for business reporting purposes Interacting with customers to coordinate work and communicate about projects Ensuring technicians follow SOPs and comply with standards Supporting the performance and development of technical team members Implementing updates to policies, procedures, and best practices Working 5 consecutive nights, then have 5 consecutive nights off Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong analytical abilities Excellent organizational and management skills Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment Skilled at multi-tasking and working both independently and in teams Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills Strong customer service orientation Strong written and verbal communication skills with leadership ability Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) Flexibility with daily/weekly work schedules Physical capability for frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving Preferred Qualifications Two years of trade school in electrical system design, refrigeration, HVAC, building maintenance, or related field 5+ years of technical experience in facility/plant engineering maintenance 3+ years of supervisory experience Experience with HVAC systems, fluid handling/pumping, and mechanical systems Knowledge of carpentry, welding, and electrical systems Familiarity with facility code requirements and standards Experience with SAP CMMS or similar enterprise management systems Background in commercial or industrial facility operations Knowledge of preventive maintenance scheduling and implementation Experience managing contractor relationships Location:
