We are looking to add an Admissions and Discharge Registered Nurse at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a full‑time Monday‑Thursday 10:00am – 8:30pm shift opportunity.

As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for
Admission: history, admission assessment, skin check and verification of home medication list.
Discharge: review with primary RN for the following needs: final medication reconciliation, discharge education, removal of INT if in place, and completion of final discharge note.

Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
Provides for patient needs as recognized through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Organizes and supervises care provided by supportive personnel; coordinates care provided by ancillary services; includes patients and significant others/families in developing an individualized plan of care; educates patients/families about disease processes and care; serves as patient advocate and is responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
Education Required Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree – Nursing
Experience
Less than 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
Telemetry Experience
Hospital Experience
License and Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Critical Care RN (CCRN) Preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Licensed Registered Nurse Required
