Key Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and inventory valuations.
Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Prepare detailed cost reports, profitability analyses, and inventory reconciliations.
Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide cost forecasts.
Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
Ensure accurate inventory costing and valuation in compliance with accounting standards.
Support pricing decisions by providing accurate product cost information.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis, absorption costing).
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to analyze production costs, identify cost drivers, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
Understanding of supply chain dynamics and their impact on manufacturing costs.
