Conduct detailed cost analysis for manufacturing operations, identifying variances and cost drivers.
Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts for production, overhead, and capital expenditures.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports, performance dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.
Analyze product profitability, inventory valuation, and production variances to support strategic decision‑making.
Evaluate capital investment projects, including ROI and payback period analysis for new equipment and facilities.
Collaborate with operations teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve financial processes and efficiency.
Perform ad‑hoc financial modeling and analysis to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
Recommended Qualifications
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Demonstrated experience with cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory valuation in a manufacturing environment.
Expert‑level Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
Ability to analyze complex operational and financial data to drive business insights and support decision‑making.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Understanding of supply chain finance concepts
