Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: New York, NY (Full-time)
Position Summary This position is responsible for managing the coordination of early talent and lateral recruitment efforts at Guggenheim Investments and plays a crucial role in creating a positive and impactful experience for candidates. The team collaborates closely with the Human Resources team, hiring managers, various internal teams, and external partners to attract and hire top talent for the organization.
Responsibilities
Consults with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s)
Utilizes all recruitment sources to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions
Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers
Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds
Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process
Schedules interviews and maintains comprehensive feedback from internal parties through the applicant tracking system
Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful
Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary
Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations
Develop relationships with internal administrative staff to facilitate effective interview scheduling and planning
Performs other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
4-7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition specifically in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Private Equity
Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; familiarity with applicant tracking systems
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
Great team player but can also work well independently with limited guidance
Process-driven with strong habits and a passion for process improvement and efficiency
Flexibility to adjust hours to meet business and recruiting needs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Workday
Sourcing experience on LinkedIn
Campus recruitment experience
Salary Range Annual base salary between $90,000 and $105,000. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only; total compensation may include additional components such as incentive compensation.
