The position delivers expert recommendations and value-added services for Roaming and International SMS by assessing technical solutions, creating detailed designs, and coordinating closely with cross-functional technical and business teams.Key Functional Responsibilities
\* Manage hardware and software capacities of Roaming and Signaling nodes by monitoring system performance against traffic trends, providing recommendations, and optimizing node configurations based on standard engineering design
\* Deliver recommendations and value-added services relative to Roaming and International SMS through assessment of solutions, development of detailed designs, and work plans in collaboration with technical and business teamsKey Competencies
\* Effective oral and written communication skills
\* Teamwork and interpersonal skills
Qualifications and Certifications
\* Must be a licensed Electronics & Communications EngineerPreferred Work Experience
\* At least 5 years of experience in the Telco IndustryEducational Background / Expertise
\* Must have attained Bachelor of Science Major in Electronics & Communication Engineering
\* Knowledgeable on 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G core network architecture
\* Expert on SS7, Sigtran, and Diameter signaling protocols
\* Knowledgeable in SS7 and Diameter Fraud Attack Detection and Blocking
\* Knowledgeable in IR21, interconnectivity of IPX Hub, SCCP GW and Roaming Partners
