The Paradox Church (TPC) exists to saturate Fort Worth with the glory and grace of Jesus.
The Discipleship Manager ensures the smooth operation of the Discipleship Ministries in collaboration with the other ministries of TPC. The primary areas of oversight include all Discipleship Ministries projects (Bible Studies, classes, resources, and events). Basically this role is responsible for helping the Discipleship Ministries Lead Team execute the vision and strategy with other ministries in the church, and promoting a culture of discipleship throughout the church.
Practically speaking, the Discipleship Manager collaborates with the Discipleship Pastor and the Deacon of Discipleship on the overall strategy, and then equips the Discipleship Ministries Lead Team to execute the vision. The Discipleship Manager also leads various teams and collaborates with other ministry teams in order to ensure projects are accomplished on‑time with quality and creativity.
Responsibilities
Discipleship Ministries
Execute the vision and strategy of the Discipleship Pastor through the Discipleship Lead Team Manage all Discipleship projects and teams related to:
The Paradox Institute (Bible Studies and classes) Resources (Devotionals, PRDX365, archives, etc.) Communication (newsletter, website, email) Men’s & Women’s Discipleship (Gatherings, mentoring) Baptism (service logistics, class, communication & workflow, storytelling)
Manage all Discipleship events:
Event Requests, Registration Pages Hospitality needs with the Hospitality Team Lead Logistics needs with the Logistics Team Lead Statistical Data processing with Data Manager
Manage Discipleship Communications and Calendars:
Manage Discipleship@ email with lay Admins Manage New Partner communications workflows Coordinate meetings for all Discipleship‑related projects
Manage Discipleship Budget:
Overall budget reporting (with Discipleship Pastor and Deacon of Discipleship) Expense report Individual project budget oversight
Residents:
Collaborate with Discipleship Pastor on providing direction for Discipleship Residents, and progress evaluation
Church‑wide Ministry Collaboration
Collaborate with Music & Arts Directors in executing Discipleship‑related Creative and Communications projects Collaborate with Connections Director and Facilities Manager in executing Discipleship events Collaborate with other ministries in the church on developing a culture of discipleship (PRDX Kids, Students, College, Global Engagement, City Engagement, etc.) Misc.
Other tasks/projects as determined by the Discipleship Pastor Core Competencies
