Join EY as a Data Architect Manager in the Power & Utilities sector. Drive data modernization, AI, and data architecture for utilities clients across transmission, distribution, generation, and customer. Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end data architecture design, data lake and platform implementation for utilities use cases. Manage and mentor a team of data architects and engineers, ensuring high quality delivery and project success. Architect and deploy AI/Gen‑AI solutions, data operations, and agentic data pipelines at scale. Guide clients on data strategy, best practices, and data governance to enable analytics and AI outcomes. Partner cross‑functional teams (Data Scientists, Business Analysts, IT) to translate business requirements into data solutions. Deliver workshops, workshops, and design sessions to capture architecture requirements and align on data strategy. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent. 8+ years of consulting experience delivering data architecture, data lake and modern data platform solutions. 8+ years designing, building, and optimizing data lake, lakehouse, or Delta lake solutions. 3+ years native cloud experience (Azure, GCP, or AWS). 5+ years mentoring and leading data architecture teams. Deep knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration. Experience designing end‑to‑end data pipelines that collect, process, and deliver data efficiently. Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or other common data engineering languages. Hands‑on containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) expertise. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Ideal Additional Experience
Master’s degree in Electrical, Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Experience at a Big‑4 consulting firm or a major utility. Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks. Passion for emerging technologies and AI/Gen‑AI innovations.
