Job Details Location : Eddyville, IA

Salary : $31.28 – $36.80/hr, based on experience and interview assessment

Hours : Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

Work safely in a team‑oriented environment, following “Safety First” expectations.

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, power transmissions, and other rotating equipment.

Execute tasks with or without supervision depending on assigned responsibilities.

Assist in developing preventive maintenance standards and provide feedback on discrepancies.

Use hand and power tools, precision alignment, rigging, pipefitting, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, and preventive/predictive maintenance techniques.

Operate hand tools such as grinders, saws, impact wrenches, drill press, and hydraulic pullers; perform welding and cutting torch work as required.

Operate forklifts, scissors lifts, basket trucks, and skid loaders.

Work from elevated areas (ladders, platforms, scaffolding) with fall protection as needed.

Work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as demanded.

Ensure compliance with company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.

Achieve performance expectations set in performance appraisals.

Communicate with team members to support planning and company goals.

Maintain personal tools and documented tool list.

Meet physical requirements of the job.

Perform tasks safely, effectively, and efficiently.

Assist with administrative duties such as time accounting and work order completion.

Maintain positive customer and employee relations.

Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in industrial maintenance.

Physical Demands

Ability to observe details at close range.

Control precision – quickly and repeatedly adjust machine controls.

Manual dexterity – grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

Substantial lifting (up to 50 lb).

Ability to move for extended periods.

Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, and step stools.

Operate hand and power tools and equipment safely.

Operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.

Wear respirator when required.

Communicate information clearly.

Organize actions in order or pattern.

Work Environment The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, extreme heat and cold, wet or humid conditions, and loud noise.
