Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr
Construction Project Manager - Commercial - Manhattan, NY will be responsible for the oversight and completion of Interior Commercial and Healthcare Construction projects throughout New York, NY.
Our client is currently leading the Commercial Building and Construction industry in New York, NY. They have been established for 20+ years focusing on Commercial Build outs, Gut rehabs and interior fit outs for Commercial and healthcare spaces.
Description
Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team
Assist with pre-construction activities relevant to assigned Commercial construction project
Client facing
Manage multiple projects at a time
Prepare or assist pre-construction manager with the project budget
Work with estimating department to prepare buy-out plan
Develop a project execution plan
Review and approve Commercial construction operation plans, change order request and pay apps.
Provide monthly forecasting for all projects, including internal general conditions costs
Track and report on all project costs
Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project
Remain knowledgeable of subcontract agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, and sub consultant agreements
Advise management of developments that may affect project profit, costs, schedules, and client relations
Establish and maintain communications between Client and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
Oversee commercial construction projects
Develop and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs, and other project activities
Manage project closeout activities
Profile
10+ years of leading commercial construction projects in Building and Construction industry
Experience with Commercial and healthcare
MEP/infrastructure experience is ideal
Experience with Flood Mitigation and/or Generator Projects within healthcare is a PLUS
Experience handling projects 100% independently
Local to New York, NY
Must have experience building in New York City
Degree preferred
