Job Description Addison Group is hiring a Human Resources Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing organization. This role will serve as the onsite HR leader and primary point of contact for all people‑related initiatives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building HR infrastructure, supporting employees directly, and partnering closely with executive leadership in a hands‑on environment.
This position is fully onsite and will support multiple nearby manufacturing locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, serving as the central resource for employees and leadership
Lead full‑cycle recruiting efforts, onboarding processes, and employee lifecycle activities
Manage employee relations matters, performance discussions, and policy interpretation
Administer benefits communication and act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers
Create, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials
Develop and scale HR processes as the organization grows, including future team expansion
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal standards
Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive HR management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Bachelor’s degree required
Demonstrated experience building or enhancing HR functions in smaller or growing organizations
Strong working knowledge of HR best practices across recruiting, employee relations, and compliance
Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to work directly with employees at all levels
Proven stability in employment history with consistent tenure
Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Preferred
SHRM‑CP or PHR certification
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
