Swing shift (8 hours) starting at 11am
Pay:
$75,000–$85,000 per year
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent QC Supervisor for our swing shift at a well‑established food manufacturing company in LA. The role is pivotal in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee the QC team during the swing shift, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures, ensuring they are adhered to throughout the production process.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production line, identifying any issues or discrepancies and taking corrective action as necessary.
Train, mentor, and guide QC staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Liaise with other departments, including production and engineering, to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
Analyze quality control data and produce reports for management, highlighting trends, issues, and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Participate in new product development, contributing to the design and implementation of quality control measures.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in quality control, with a strong understanding of QC principles and methodologies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively with staff at all levels.
Proficient in the use of quality control software and tools.
A relevant degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is advantageous.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work the swing shift, starting at 11am.
