$20.00/hr – $28.00/hr Position Summary

Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. Assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility. Assign duties to associates, communicate goals and feedback, train associates on processes and procedures, and provide direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques. Resolve member complaints and issues according to company guidelines, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Support the Open Door Policy, participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members. Process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, encourage membership renewals, and participate in sales and marketing events. Complete and maintain marketing recaps and other required documentation while striving to meet membership goals. Promote the value of Sam’s Club products and services. Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and offering guidance on self‑service technology. Assist members with transactions using registers or self‑checkout areas and ensure club pick‑up orders are filled. Oversee assigned area of responsibility by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, organizing and maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds, and assisting members with transporting items using cart retrieval equipment. Maintain parking lot cleanliness. Complete accounting records, file transactions, and other required documentation by following accounting office procedures, provide funds for proper register operation, create and interpret financial analysis reports, assist with accounting‑related investigations, prepare daily deposits, oversee Cash Fund Transfers, investigate overages and shortages in cash register drawers and accounting office, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial and personal information. Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices that meet business needs through collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners. Analyze and apply information from multiple sources, monitor progress and results, and identify improvement opportunities. Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Lead and participate in teams, using resources, information, and tools to determine customer needs and business priorities, coordinating and executing work assignments, and providing support to ensure timelines and quality are achieved. Model adaptability to change or new challenges, embrace differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences, and create a workplace where associates feel supported and connected.
