Annual Bonus This role is a global financial services leadership position focused on driving and scaling the Americas Accounts Payable function in a high-impact banking environment. Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Americas Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor maintenance, and reconciliations. Establish, enhance, and enforce AP policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and operational integrity. Lead automation, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Oversee month-end and year-end close activities related to AP, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Partner with Procurement, Treasury, IT, Tax, and other Finance teams to align AP processes with broader financial objectives. Manage relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders, and external auditors. Track and report on KPIs and service-level metrics, delivering insights to senior leadership. Lead, coach, and develop a large, geographically dispersed AP team, balancing hands-on involvement with effective delegation. Stay current on regulatory developments, tax requirements, and global payment practices impacting Accounts Payable. In office 3x a week in NYC. Requirements
8+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience within a financial services environment; banking experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience leading large teams, including both in-office and remote staff. Strong knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and/or Workday. Experience implementing or working with AP automation tools and workflow technologies. Seniority level
