Shipping & Materials Lead

Assists in the daily supervision of the Shipping & Materials team and facilitates efficient and effective performance of daily work to be performed. Performs the tasks involved in the storing, packing, and shipping of finished products within the Spirax Sarco Inventory System.
Responsibilities:
Assists ESMU Operations Planning Manager in daily supervision of team, setting tasks & providing directions.
Removes hurdles for shipping team through appropriate problem solving.
Picks customer orders from the Stores area and packs the orders in a manner that ensures accuracy and protects the product from damage during shipment.
Facilitate communication between Shipping and Receiving Team, and other departments in the facility.
Accountable and responsible for all safety and environmental compliance as it relates to the position.
Required Education:
High School graduate or equivalent
Required Experience:
1-2+ years’ experience in Shipping & Materials in a manufacturing/production environment
Basic computer skills with ability to quickly learn industry specific software.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Demand Flow Technology (DFT) manufacturing a plus.
Experience using Forklift; Forklift Certified preferred.
