Groendyke Transport offers careers that unlock unlimited potential.**Summary**Responsible for monitoring, and supervising the assignments of equipment and drivers for the best utilization and optimization of assets.**Description****Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Key decision maker in the dispatch and planning process providing uninterrupted fuel delivery service to our refined customers.* Effective communication with customers, terminal and planning center staff.* Actively monitor fuel tank levels at assigned delivery locations using online customer portals and TMW Fuel Dispatch.* Update planned loads following current customer supply instructions.* Provide initial contact support to drivers and resolve delivery issues that may arise from planning, loading and final delivery.* Advocate and maintain a strong commitment to safety in the dispatch process.* Optimize resources to provide maximum driver earnings, revenue, and profitability.* Update load information, billing notes and keep accurate records in TMW Fuel Dispatch.* Perform all other duties as specified by management.* Schedule: Off every other weekend (Fri-Sun). Rotating 14-day cycle. 2-2-3.* Travel: 0-10%**Additional Job Description****Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements*** Dispatch experience desired.* Understanding of equipment utilization and allocation.* Management and/or supervisory experience desired.* Advanced administrative and organizational skills.* High School Diploma (or equivalent)**Preferred Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree preferred.
An equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to effectively perform the functions of this position may be considered.* Tanker industry experience (Commodities: Gasoline, Diesel, Biodiesel, Ethanol, Jet, Avgas).* Knowledge of DOT and applicable Federal Regulations.**Computer Equipment and Software Requirements*** Must be able to effectively operate computer systems to complete essential job functions.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.The trucking company you want to grow with.# Groendyke Transport has a reputation as an elite tank truck carrier for good reason.
