What You’ll Be Doing
Recovery-Focused Case Management:
Provide person-centered case management services aimed at reducing barriers and enhancing wellness, independence, and stability.
Skills Training and Psycho-Social Support:
Facilitate skills training to help clients overcome challenges and build tools needed for a successful recovery journey, via face-to-face or televideo sessions in-clinic or in the community.
Collaboration with Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT):
Work closely with MCOT for seamless continuity of care, from crisis management to recovery support. Conduct crisis assessments and appropriate referrals.
Building Resilience and Safety:
Support individuals with high-crisis needs to build resilience, reduce risks, and develop empowerment in their recovery process.

Differential Detail
Up to $4.00/hour for Tenure with BTCS
$0.75/hour for Bilingual
Up to $2.00/hour for prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
$1.00/hour for Master’s Degree in Human Services
$1.00/hour for Advanced Licensure
$0.50/hour for LCDC Licensure Eligibility for
$200/month Service Delivery Incentive Award

Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a social, behavioral, or human services field, or equivalent coursework, and knowledge of mental illness.
Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver status throughout employment.
If degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field is required.
Preferred Qualifications One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening.
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related human service field.
Bilingual preferred.
