Mechanical Engineering Co‑op Student – Fort Edward, NY – Summer/Fall 2026
We're looking for a mechanical engineering student to work on impactful projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What We Offer
$25.75 – $27.40 per hour, depending on grade level

Responsibilities
Plan, implement and lead assigned projects
Create AutoCAD drawings and details as required for departmental projects
Develop material lists, cost estimates and budget inputs
Coordinate with contractors and business partners
Assist the team in resolving operational problems with process, maintenance and plant engineering support
Lead small projects related to process monitoring, investigation and optimization
Conduct statistical studies for operational review
Collaborate closely with the production department to improve process and quality
Follow safe practices at all times
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program
At least 2 years completed in the current degree program
Fluent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with CAD (AutoCAD LT) and SharePoint
High level of professionalism and communication skills at all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Highly organized with a focus on detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Commitment to professional, respectful and ethical conduct, adherence to site safety rules, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and innovation
Passion for continuous improvement, creativity, and a positive attitude
