Full‑time internship at J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI), operating in Canada and the United States. Salary: $25.75–$27.40 per hour depending on grade level. Housing stipend available (if applicable).

Responsibilities
Plan and implement units of product quality
Perform continuous assessment of product quality
Assist team to resolve operating problems with process, maintenance, and plant engineering support
Lead small project in process monitoring, investigation, and optimization
Conduct statistical studies for operation reviewWork closely with production department to improve processes and quality
Follow safe practices at all times
Qualifications
Enrolled in an Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, and/or Pulp & Paper)
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Relevant engineering courses: Fluid Mechanics, Process Control, Heat and Mass Transfer, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Statistics
