The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. The role also includes shift management responsibilities when the Assistant or Store Manager are absent.

Essential Job Functions Lead store team members in providing excellent service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team members execute customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).

Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.

Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly, and contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.

Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.

Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly; issue refunds accurately using correct payment methods; process or stage returned merchandise in the returns area correctly.

Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.

Communicate Zipline messages and delegate and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.

Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule; approvals for changes/deviations by management; clock in/out according to policy.

Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, secure money/deposits per policy, prepare bank deposits, ensure night security lights on, lock doors, arming/disarming alarms, and secure delivery vehicle(s).

All other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience & Abilities Required: Strong communication skills.

Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.

Automotive systems and repair knowledge.

ASE Certification.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
