The Controller will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving efficiency. This permanent position is based in the Bronx and offers a rewarding opportunity to lead a dynamic Accounting & Finance team.

Base Pay Range $175,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to support decision‑making.
Oversee audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Lead and mentor the accounting team to enhance their skills and performance.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline financial operations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings.
Qualifications
A strong educational background in Accounting or Finance, with relevant certifications preferred.
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
Strong leadership and communication abilities to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Experience in the FMCG industry is a plus.
